GloSmart stands for Globally Smart. It is a website which parents can use to teach children about countries, languages, cultures and facts from around the world.
GloSmart sows the seed of learning & global vision at an early age in children. Having a global outlook can help children communicate and interact with other children from around the globe. Children can thereby gain confidence in their own heritage and also start to develop an appreciation for other countries & cultures.

GloSmart is an educational website. However we understand that children learn faster through animation, associating with characters and through interaction. We have created the GloSmart Friends ™ to help children not only learn but to subtly experience different cultures.
GloSmart friends are animals from around the world. Each GloSmart friend has a different cultural background. For e.g. Elle the Elephant is from America, Taj the Tiger is from India.

All GloSmart modules are intended to bring value to you and your child. The GloSmart free modules are a great way to get started. By having a paid account you will have access to new content every month. The free modules are primarily in English. The paid account will have modules to teach children languages like Spanish, German, French, Mandarin, Hindi etc.
Currently all modules of GloSmart are free during Alpha. Paid modules will be added after Alpha.
The GloSmart forum is a way for parents and teachers to share advice, tips and fun experiences. We hope you will also talk about your child's GloSmart experiences.
