May Day (May 1st ):

St. David’s Day (Mar 1st ): is the feast day of Saint David, the patron saint of Wales, and falls on 1 March each year. The date of 1 March was chosen in remembrance of the death of Saint David on that day in 589, and has been celebrated by followers since then.

Candlemas (Feb 2nd): celebrates an early episode in the life of Jesus, and falls on or around 2 February. In the Latin Rite of the Catholic Church, the Presentation is the fourth Joyful Mystery of the Rosary.

New Year (Jan 1st): is marked as the end of one year and the beginning of another. It is celebrated at different times by different cultures. Gregorian calendar is followed by many countries and celebrates New Year at January 1st  of each year.
